Remove the rubber boot from the crankcase.
Fasten the steering gear in a vice to the rack, as shown in fig. 393, and unscrew the rod.
Clean the inside of the rail from the old grease, apply new (recommended lubricant AOF06300004). Screw a new tie rod into the rack, tightening with a torque of 70 Nm.
Install the rubber boot.
In case of replacement of the left link, the length of the link should be adjusted to 362 mm (size «A» in fig. 394).
After installing the steering gear, adjust the toe-in and tighten both lock nuts on the rods with a torque of 50 Nm.
