Replacement
1. Disconnect the inner joints from the drive flanges as described in point 2 and the notes given below:
a) In 1.05 and 1.3 l models, disconnecting the right drive axle shaft entails the need to unscrew the stabilizer cross member from the bracket and disconnect the lever from the body on the same side. Move the lever down.
b) In models with automatic transmission, disconnecting the left drive axle shaft entails the need to disconnect the balancer from the body on the same side. Move the lever down.
3. After disconnecting the drive axle shafts from the driven flanges, they must be tied up so that they do not interfere.
4. In the 084 type gearbox, remove the bolt from the center of the drive flange. The flange can be made immobile using a groat and two bolts screwed into the flange collar.
5. In the gearbox type 020, remove the plastic plug (if there was), lifting it with a screwdriver, and remove the spring ring and concave washer from the main axle shaft. Pay attention to the direction of the washer placement. It is placed with the concave side facing the flange (photo 6.34)

6. Place an oil container under the gearbox, then remove the drive flanges and mark which flange goes to which side. In the 084 gearbox, the drive flanges are of unequal length. Knock out the old seals from the main gear housing. Assembly is performed in the reverse order of disassembly.
