31. Remove the spring ring 5, which secures the hinge 6 on the axle shaft 9 (pic. 7.1, photo 7.13).

32. Using a small punch, carefully knock the cover off the hinge body (photo 7.14)
33. Mark exactly the position of the end of the rubber casing in relation to the drive shaft. A piece of electrical tape or quick-drying paint is enough. This sign will indicate the exact position of the rubber casing on the axle shaft during assembly (this is especially important in the gti model).
34. Move the hinge from the axle shaft or use a copper punch to knock out the axle shaft (photo 7.15).
35. Remove the concave spring washer 7 from the axle shaft 9, paying attention that the concave side is directed towards the hinge hub, and the toothed washer (photo 7.16).
36. Relax the clamping belt and slide the rubber casing off the axle shaft.
