Verification condition
The fuel pressure should be normal and the pressure gauge connected.
Checking fuel pressure
Turn on the ignition as many times as necessary until the fuel pressure on the pressure gauge stops increasing.
Determine the fuel pressure using the pressure gauge. The nominal value is 4.0–6.0 bar.
Monitor the pressure drop on the pressure gauge. After 10 minutes, the pressure should be no lower than 3.0 bar.
If the pressure drops faster, turn on the ignition as many times as necessary until the fuel pressure on the pressure gauge stops increasing.
Immediately close the pressure gauge valve. The lever should be in position B.
If the pressure drops again, check the fuel line to the high pressure pump for leaks.
If the fault is not found, replace the high pressure pump.
If the pressure does not then drop, check the fuel line to the fuel tank for leaks.
If the fuel line malfunction is not detected, then the pressure reducing valve in the flange with the fuel filter is faulty, replace the flange with the fuel filter
