Remove the fuel supply line 2 and place a rag under the leaking fuel (fig. 2.207).
Note: To disconnect the fuel line, press the retaining ring.

Connect the pressure gauge with adapter and adapter kit instead of the fuel supply line (fig. 2.208).
Open the pressure gauge valve. The lever is in position A.
Turn on the ignition as many times as necessary until the fuel pressure on the pressure gauge stops increasing.

Determine the fuel pressure using the pressure gauge. The nominal value is 4.0–6.0 bar.
If the fuel pressure is normal, check the residual pressure.
If the nominal value is exceeded, then the pressure reducing valve in the fuel filter is faulty, replace the flange with the fuel filter
If the specified pressure value is not reached, check the fuel lines and hoses for kinks and blockages.
If the fault is not found, replace the flange with the fuel filter and pressure limiting valve
Please retry the check.
If the nominal value is still not reached, the fuel pump is faulty, replace the fuel delivery module.
