Increased fuel consumption and poor engine throttle response may be caused by insufficient enrichment of the mixture at full load. The operation of the forced idle switch is checked by activating the enricher of the combustible mixture at full throttle, since they are connected to the control unit by the same wires. If the forced idle switch is functioning, then the enricher of the combustible mixture is in order.
Prerequisite for verification
The engine is warmed up to an engine oil temperature of at least +80°C.
Examination
Connect the tachometer in accordance with the operating instructions.
Leave the engine idling.

Manually activate the enrichment "1", the switch should click. At the same time, using the screwdriver "2", open the throttle valve and set the crankshaft speed to approximately 2000 1/min. The speed should fluctuate audibly, the engine "saws". This indicates that the forced idle switch is working. If the switch does not work, disconnect the temperature sensor plug at the coolant pipe and short-circuit the plug contacts with a jumper.
Repeat the test with the plug contacts closed. If the forced idle switch now works, replace the temperature sensor.
If the switch still does not work, this may be due to the following reasons: incorrectly adjusted throttle position sensor, broken wire in temperature sensor or throttle position sensor, defective Digifant control unit.
