For all types of vehicles:
Position 1: To lock the steering, remove the key from the ignition and turn the steering wheel in any direction until it locks (you will hear the click of the locking pin).
Attention: Remove the key only after the vehicle has come to a complete stop! Otherwise, the steering may be suddenly locked while the vehicle is moving.
Note: If the headlights, side lights and turn signal lamps are not switched off and the key is removed from the ignition switch, an audible signal sounds when the driver's door is opened (buzzer).
Position 2: If the key inserted in the ignition lock does not turn or turns with difficulty, turn the steering wheel slightly to release the locking pin.
Position 3: In this position, the exterior lighting switches to standby mode and all other electrical appliances are switched off.
The vehicle is equipped with a starter interlock device that prevents the starter from engaging after the engine has started. If the engine stalls with the ignition on, turn the key to position 1 before restarting the engine.
