Removal and installation the steering column stutter housing
Instructions: To remove the steering column lock housing, you must first remove the steering column switch bracket. The steering column lock may be damaged. If the steering column lock is operated without the lock cylinder, it will become blocked and must be replaced. Do not operate the steering column lock without the lock cylinder.
Disconnect the battery. Remove the steering column switch module bracket.
Removal and installation of the stuttering larva
Disconnect the battery. Remove the steering wheel. Remove the steering column trim.
Instructions: For clarity, the figure does not show the signal light switch, windshield wiper switch, steering angle sensor, coil spring and steering column control unit. To remove the lock cylinder ZGI, the elements do not need to be removed. The immobilizer reading coil is attached to the lock cylinder and cannot be replaced separately. For clarity, the ignition key is not shown in the following figures.
Insert the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder and turn it to the "ignition on" position. Positions of the key in the ignition lock cylinder.

- 1 - Position "Halt" (Stop)
- 2 - Position "Fahrt" (Movement)
- 3 - Position "Start" (Start)
Instructions: For clarity, the following figure shows the removed lock cylinder without the ignition key.
Insert steel wire (about 1.2 mm) into the hole "arrow" next to the ignition key. Unlock the "arrow" with steel wire "2" safety lever "3" of the lock cylinder "1". Remove the lock cylinder "1" from the steering column lock housing.

Disconnect the "arrow" plug from the reading coil.

Installation
Instructions: For clarity, the ignition key is not shown in the following figure.
Insert the ignition key into the lock cylinder "1" and turn it to the "Drive" position. Unlock the "arrow" with steel wire "2" safety lever "3" of the lock cylinder "1".
Instructions: The connector for the immobilizer reading coil must be inserted into the guide on the steering lock housing.
Connect the plug to the immobilizer reading coil. Insert the lock cylinder "1" into the lock housing. Remove the steel wire "2" from the lock cylinder "1" and check the reliability of the cylinder fastening in the lock housing. Install all components in the reverse order.
Removal and installation the ignition and starter switch
Disconnect the battery. Remove the steering wheel. Remove the steering column trim. Disconnect connector "2" from ignition and starter switch "1". Unlock the ignition and starter switch with a small screwdriver "arrows". Remove the ignition and starter switch "1" from the steering column lock housing.

Installation
Insert the ignition and starter switch into the steering column lock housing until it clicks. Insert the ignition key into the lock cylinder and turn it to the "ignition on" position.
Instructions: The key must be in the "Drive" position. Key positions in the ignition lock cylinder.

Removal and installation of ignition key lock bend "N376"
The ignition key lock magnet "N376" is mounted in close proximity to the ignition switch and starter.
Instructions: To remove the ignition key in cars with automatic transmission, you must always first move the selector to the "P" position and then turn off the ignition. Otherwise, the ignition key lock magnet "N376" does not allow the key to be removed from the lock!

Remove the steering column electronics control unit "J527". Unlock the latch "2" with a suitable screwdriver. Remove the ignition key lock magnet "N376" "1" in the direction of the arrow from its mount. At the same time, the connector is disconnected.
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Instructions: After connecting the battery to activate the ignition key lock magnet "N376", perform diagnostics of the actuators of the steering column electronics control unit "J527".
