Removal and installation the driver side switch module
The following components are integrated into the driver side switch module (depends on the configuration).
- Rear view mirror adjustment switch "E43"
- Rear view mirror adjustment switch "E48"
- External rear view mirror heating button "E231"
- Rear view mirror adjustment switch illumination lamp "L7B"
- Switch for folding rear view mirrors "E263"
- Front left window lift switch "E40"
- Rear left window switch in driver's door "E53"
- Rear right window switch in driver's door "E55"
- Front right window switch in driver's door "E81"
- Child lock button "E318"
- Child lock indicator lamp "K236"
- Button illumination lamp "L76"
- Control lamp for SAFE function of central locking "K133"
Instruction: The above components cannot be replaced individually.
Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers. Remove the door trim. Unlock the "arrow" locks and remove the central locking SAFE function indicator lamp "1" from its installation position.
Release the "arrow" latches and push the driver's side switch module, starting from the right side, out of the door trim.
Lift the switch module on the driver's side first forwards and slightly upwards "arrow A" and then remove it in the direction of the arrow from the door trim.
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Removal and installation the driver's door lock button "E309"
Instructions: The front passenger door lock button "E308" has a built-in button illumination lamp "L76", which cannot be replaced separately.
Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers. Remove the door trim. Unscrew the fastening bolts "arrows" and remove the insert "1".
Unlock the arrow locks and remove the door opening handle "1" with the door lock button from the door trim.
Unlock the "arrow" latches and remove the door lock button on the driver's side "E308" from the installation frame.
Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Instructions: The above components cannot be replaced individually. If these elements are faulty - and the front door locks - replace the lock of the corresponding door.
