Headlight beam adjustment
It is better to make adjustment at a service station with special equipment, but if necessary, you can do it on your own.
The headlights must be adjusted so that their dipped beam does not blind the eyes of a person standing in front of the car at a distance of 7.5 m; for this, the upper border of the light spot should be at a height of no more than 105 mm above the ground (pic. A:27).
Adjust the headlights after dark by parking the vehicle on a level surface in front of a wall, at a distance of 7.5 m from it. Mark the wall at a height of 105 mm against the center of each headlight (to do this, put the car close to the wall, make marks, and then roll it back to a distance of 7.5 m).
Turn on the dipped headlights and turn the adjusting screws (pic. A:28), adjust the beam direction of each headlight. Top screw (IN) serves for horizontal adjustment of the headlight, and the lower screw (A) - for vertical adjustment.
