Check tire pressure at least weekly. Check the pressure before driving, as the tires heat up when the vehicle is in motion, and the pressure in them may increase. The recommended tire pressure is indicated in the section "Technical data". The pressure in the tire of the spare wheel must be the maximum recommended; when installing the wheel, the pressure must be corrected.
Incorrect tire pressure leads to their rapid and uneven wear and premature failure; a 10% reduction in pressure compared to normal leads to a reduction in tire mileage by 13%.
After checking the pressure, make sure that a cap is installed on the valve of each wheel to prevent contamination of the spool and additionally seal the valve.
At the same time as checking the pressure, inspect the tire tread for timely identification of uneven wear and its causes (see chapter "technical inspection").
The wheels must be balanced. Wheel imbalance causes vehicle vibration while driving, accelerated wear of suspension and steering components, and shortens tire life. Wheel balancing should be done in a specialized workshop, as this requires special equipment.
