General description of wheels and tires (VW Beetle)

Volkswagen Kafer vehicles are equipped with standard wheels with 4 1/2 Jx15 rims and 5.60-15/6.00-15 or 155 SR 15 tires.

All wheel disks are equipped with a flange, which is a ridge pressed into the edge of the disk. This ridge prevents the tubeless tire from coming off the rim under extreme driving conditions.

Please note: If your vehicle is equipped with alloy wheels, longer wheel bolts are generally required. Under no circumstances should the wheel bolts be mixed up, otherwise the wheel brake mechanism will be damaged.
