Periodically check the operation of the windshield wipers in all modes (high and low speed, pause mode), the stop position and the condition of the brushes.

Remove dirty brushes and clean with a stiff brush and detergent.

Replace brushes that do not provide satisfactory cleaning of the glass with new ones in a timely manner. Remember that brush wear depends on the amount of dust, air flow speed, and increases when the brushes work on icy or dry glass.

To remove the brush, you need to turn it 90 degrees relative to the lever, then move it down along the lever and remove the lever hook from the brush (figure A:29).

Washer reservoir

Check the fluid level in the windshield and rear window washer reservoirs weekly, or more often if the washers are used intensively. Windshield Washer Reservoir (A, figure A:30) located in the engine compartment. The rear window washer reservoir is located on the side of the luggage compartment, behind the rear light cluster (B, figure A:30). To fill the windshield washer reservoirs, use a mixture of water and a special low-freezing washing liquid, which allows you to use the washer in cold weather. To avoid damaging the paintwork of the car body, do not use liquids not intended for washing glass, such as antifreeze.
