Intermittent brush movement (Windshield)
Slide the lever up to the fixed position 1.
To set the movement interval, turn dial A. Turn up - pauses are shorter, down - longer. When turned up to the stop, the longest wiper operation is achieved.
Intermittent brush movement (rear glass)
Push the lever forward. The windshield wiper operates every six seconds.
Push the lever all the way forward to turn on the automatic rear window wiper and washer.
Release the lever. The wiper operates for another four seconds, then starts to operate every six seconds.
Slow brush movement
Slide the lever up to the fixed position 1.
Turn dial A all the way up.
Long brush stroke
Move the lever up to the fixed position 2.
Manual wiper control
Move the lever down to position 3 when you only need to operate the wipers briefly.
Automatic cleaning and washing (Windshield)
Pull the lever briefly to position 4.
Release the lever. The windshield wipers run for another four seconds.
Switching off the wipers
Move the lever to its original position 0.
Windshield wipers and washers operate only when the ignition is on.
ATTENTION: Worn and dirty wiper blades do not provide good visibility, which reduces traffic safety.
ATTENTION: At low temperatures, turn on the windshield washers only after warming the windshield using heating and warm air supply. Otherwise, the windshield washer fluid may freeze on the windshield and restrict visibility.
ATTENTION: In winter, before using the windshield wipers for the first time, make sure that the wipers are not frozen to the glass. Otherwise, if the brushes are frozen, both the brushes and the wiper motors may be damaged.
Rain sensor
The rain sensor regulates the intensity of the windscreen wipers depending on the rain flow (pic. 1.46).
Turning on the rain sensor
Move the stalk to position 1.
Set dial A according to the desired sensitivity of the rain sensor. Turning the knob up increases the sensitivity. When turning the ring downwards, the sensitivity is lower. By turning the dial up to the stop, a slow continuous operation of the wipers is achieved.
The rain sensor controls the intermittent movement of the brushes. If the ignition has been switched off, the rain sensor adjustment must be reset. To do this, turn off and then turn on the intermittent movement of the brushes.
Headlight washers
Headlight washers clean the headlights.
When the windshield washers are turned on, the headlight washers are also activated if the stalk is moved to the steering wheel for at least one and a half seconds with the dipped beam or high beam on. Regularly, e.g. when refueling, clean dried-on dirt from the headlights (e.g. insect remains).
NOTE: To ensure proper operation of the headlamp washers in winter, clear snow from the nozzle holders in the bumper and remove ice with an ice removal spray.
Sun visors
One of the twin visors on the driver's seat can be removed from the bracket on the right and moved to the door (pic. 1.47).
The cosmetic mirror in the visor is covered with a lid. When you slide the cover in the ceiling, the lamp lights up.
NOTE: Slide the cover back into place before leaving the vehicle. This prevents battery drain.
