Turning on the direction indicators
Push the lever all the way up 1 (pic. 1.44) to turn on the right turn indicators or down 2 to turn on the left turn indicators.
Switching on a light signal before changing lanes
Move the lever up or down only as far as the counterpressure point. The direction indicators will flash as long as you hold the lever, but at least three times.
Switching on and off high beam
Turn the switch to .
Push the lever forward 3 to turn on the high beam.
To turn off the high beam, pull the lever back to its original position.
Switching on the light signal
Pull the lever towards the steering wheel 4 to turn on the light signal.
Turning on the parking light
Switch off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition switch.
Push the stalk up or down depending on which side you want to turn on the parking lights.
NOTE: The direction indicators only work when the ignition is on. At the same time, the corresponding control lamp in the instrument panel flashes. The indicator lamp flashes when the turn signals are turned on when a trailer is attached to the vehicle. When one of the direction indicator bulbs is out of order, the warning light flashes twice as fast. If the turn signal lamp on the trailer is defective, the indicator lamp does not function. Replace lamp.
The high beam only comes on when the outdoor light switch is in the headlight position. The control lamp is on in the instrument panel.
The light signal is active as long as the stalk is held down, also when the exterior lighting is not switched on. The control lamp is on in the instrument panel.
When the parking lights are on, the headlights and taillights on the respective Side of the vehicle are illuminated. The parking lights are only active when the ignition is switched off. When the parking lights are on and the driver's door is open, the buzzer will sound.
If the ignition key is removed while the turn signals are on, a warning chime will sound when the driver's door is open. This reminds you to turn off your turn signals if you don't want to leave the parking lights.
