Locks and hinges
Regularly lubricate all hinges and locks of the car to prevent their accelerated wear and possible jamming. For lubrication, use an oil can with motor oil. Remove excess grease. Lubricate the hood lock and door stops with a small amount of universal grease.
Lubricate door and trunk lock cylinders by applying a small amount of motor oil or graphite grease to the key. Do not attempt to lubricate the ignition/steering column lock.
