The windscreen wipers only operate when the ignition is on.
Heated windshield washer nozzles automatically set the heating power depending on the outside temperature when the ignition is turned on. In frosty conditions, check before driving to see if the brushes are frozen to the glass.
Instructions: Filling the washer fluid reservoir is described below.
Front wiper/washer modes:
Standby mode - Raise the lever as far as it will go before position 1
Slow speed - Set lever to position 1
High speed - Set lever to position 2
intermittent mode ("pause"). Set the lever to position 3, while the brushes work at intervals of 6 seconds. If a windshield wiper with adjustable duration is installed "pauses", the interval between brush strokes can be programmed from 1.5 to 22 seconds. For this:
- Turn on the intermittent mode so that the brushes make one stroke
- Switch off the windshield wipers and after the break you have chosen, switch them on again. The break time can be changed an unlimited number of times. After switching off the ignition, the pause time is reset to 6 seconds.
Windshield washer
To turn on the washer, pull the lever to the steering wheel rim - the washers work together with the wiper blades.
Release the lever - the washers turn off and the brushes continue to work for 4 seconds.
Headlight washers
When the dipped beam or high beam is on, the headlight washer is switched on simultaneously with the windshield washer. Hardened dirt should be mechanically removed from the headlights from time to time.
Rear wiper (Variant)
Move the lever away from the steering wheel rim - the rear wiper operates intermittently at intervals of 6 seconds. Pressing again shortly switches off the wiper.
Rear washer
Depress the lever from the steering wheel rim and hold it in this position - at the same time as the wiper, the washer also turns on. When the lever is released, the washer stops.
