Unlock the steering wheel adjustment lever. Extend and move the steering wheel as far down as possible. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. Remove the driver's airbag. Remove the steering wheel. Unlock the clamps and remove cover "1" and the upper trim of the steering column switch unit "2". Unscrew screw "3" (1.5 Nm). Unscrew two screws "4" (1.5 Nm). Unlock the clamps and remove the lower trim of the steering column switch unit "5".
