Removal and installation the steering column switch panel trim (VW Caddy 3)

Disconnect the negative terminal from the vehicle battery.

Remove the driver's airbag.

Remove the steering wheel.

The fresh air deflectors shown in the figure do not correspond to the deflectors installed on the vehicle.

The driver's side glove compartment area is not shown in the illustration. There is no need to remove the glove compartment.

Unlock the latches and remove the cover (1) and the upper trim of the steering column switch block (2).

Loosen two screws (3) (2.5 Nm).

Unlock the steering wheel position adjustment lever.

Unscrew the screw (4) (2.5 Nm).

Unlock the clamps and remove the lower trim of the steering column switch block (5).
