Removal and installation the center console without armrest (VW Tiguan 1)

Switch off the ignition. Remove the electromechanical parking brake button. Remove the center console trim. Remove the trim in the footwell on both sides. Unscrew the two screws "1" (1.5 Nm). Unscrew screw "2" (1.5 Nm). Move the seats as far forward and up as possible.



Disconnect plug "1" from the trim using a small screwdriver. Unscrew screw "2" (6 Nm). Remove plug "3" and unscrew screw "4". Remove plugs and unscrew screws from the opposite side.



Unscrew two screws "1" (1.5 Nm).



Lift the rear section of the center console. Remove the center console from the vehicle.
