On vehicles with electric windows and central door locking, remove the door trim and plastic cover as described below. Disconnect the door wire connectors, marking their positions. Disconnect the door opening limiter by unscrewing the mounting bolt (Fig. 9-18). Unscrew the countersunk screws securing the lower and upper door hinges. Remove the door from the hinge brackets by lifting it.

When installing, insert the door in the open position into the body opening. Tighten the hinge mounting screws without tightening them completely.
Check the door gaps with the surrounding body parts and adjust them if necessary. by moving the hinges relative to the body pillar, and finally tighten the hinge mounting screws. Attach the door stop. Connect the door wire connectors. Check the door for leaks by pouring a strong stream of water on the car. Carefully lubricate the hinges and door lock. Install the door trim as indicated below.
