Pedals
Access to the pedals must be free at all times!
Down (under the driver's feet) there should be no objects that could slip under the pedals.
There should be no mats or additional floor coverings under the pedals that restrict pedal travel.
Handbrake

To activate the handbrake, you need to lift the lever and pull it with some force. When parking on a road with a steep slope, you need to additionally engage first gear, and with an automatic transmission, set the selector lever to the "P" position, locking the transmission with the parking pawl.
When the handbrake is applied and the ignition is on, the indicator light on the instrument panel lights up.
To release the handbrake, pull it up slightly and press the button at the same time, then lower the lever down until it stops.
