After the indicator light stops flashing, the doors should be checked.
The alarm is triggered if any of the doors, hood, tailgate, or ignition is turned on in a locked vehicle. In this case, the siren and hazard warning lights are turned on for 30 seconds, and the engine is blocked from starting.
Windows and sunroof are not included in the alarm system.
Instructions
After 24 hours, the indicator light goes out to prevent the vehicle battery from being discharged during long periods of parking.
The tailgate can be opened with the key without triggering the alarm. Once the door is locked, it will be reconnected to the alarm system.
If the vehicle continues to be broken into after the alarm has been triggered (for example, after opening one of the side doors, the tailgate is opened), the alarm goes off again.
