The drive of both engine distribution halls is carried out by means of a toothed belt, which drives one of the camshafts. The second camshaft is driven by means of a separate chain from the camshaft, driven by a toothed belt. The toothed belt is located on the gears of the camshafts, crankshaft and intermediate shaft. The toothed belt is completely isolated from the outer mudguard, the crankshaft gear is installed thanks to a V-groove in the crankshaft and a protrusion on the inner side of the crankshaft wheel. The service life of the belt should be 100,000 km.
Belt tension is created by means of a built-in tension roller with an adjusting eccentric.
