2. Remove the battery ground wire clamp.
3. Raise the rear of the vehicle and place it on stands.
4. Lift and remove the support clamp, disconnect the plug of the electrical wires 2 from the socket on the pump.
5. Unscrew the shock absorber 9 at the rear end of the pump and disconnect the connection of the elastic pipe 8, paying attention to the fact that there is a sealing gasket on each side of the connection.
6. Unscrew and remove the fastening nuts and washers, remove the limiting element 10.
7. Loosen the three fastening screws supporting the pump ring 13 and remove the ring, and then the pump unit 14.
8. Remove the o-ring 20 and take out the mesh filter 21.
9. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When installing, the new sealing ring must be lubricated with gasoline and checked to ensure that it has not been deformed during installation.
10. When installing the pump, make sure that its projections fit into the recesses of the support ring.
11. If the check valve 11 was removed from the rear of the pump, install it, having first replaced the sealing washer 12 with a new one. Also put on new sealing gaskets on both sides of the elastic hose connection. Install the shock absorber, tightening it to a certain torque.
12. With the engine running, check for signs of fuel leakage through the connections.
