Extraction
1. Drain the liquid from the cooling system.
2. Remove the air filter and take out the air pipes. Disconnect the battery cable with a minus sign.
3. Unscrew and remove the timing belt cover.
4. Rotate the engine with a wrench on the crankshaft pulley until the top bolt that secures the camshaft cover inner plate appears in the camshaft gear hole. Loosen and remove the bolt.
5. Set distribution marks on one line. Reduce the tension of the toothed belt by rotating the water pump housing, then remove the belt from the water pump and camshaft gear.
6. To take out bolts and to remove a cover of a belt of distribution.
7. Remove water pump 10 (pic. 2.4) take out the sealing ring 9 of the o-ring type.

8. The water pump is not repairable and in case of damage, it must be replaced with a new one.
9. Clean the mating surfaces of the water pump and engine block.
Installation
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace the gasket with a new one. Install and tension the distribution belt. Fill the cooling system with water.
