2. Remove the drive belt (see section 6).
3. Remove the radiator (see section 5).
4. Disconnect the expansion tank hoses from the intake manifold and thermostat housing and unscrew the tank support bracket bolts.
5. Remove the expansion tank.
6. Disconnect the water pump hoses, paying attention to the special spring on the lower hose that prevents it from twisting.

7. Loosen the bolts and remove the pulley from the water pump (see photo).

8. Loosen the bolts and remove the pump from the front surface of the cylinder block. Remove the sealing gasket, which must be replaced with a new one.
9. If noise is heard when the pump shaft rotates, or if you have removed the pump due to a leaking shaft seal, the pump should be replaced. There are no repair kits for the pump available for sale.
10. The pump is installed in reverse order. Install a new gasket, lubricating it on both sides with sealant (see photo).

11. Tighten the drive belt.
12. Fill the cooling system with fluid.
