1. In countries with cold climates, it is recommended to use a mixture of antifreeze and water in the system. Every fall, the coolant should be drained, the system flushed, and the coolant refilled. The coolant should be replaced every 2 years, as over time the antifreeze loses its properties and corrosion processes may begin in the system. In countries with warm climates, where the use of antifreeze does not make sense, it is necessary to add a corrosion inhibitor to the water, one of those recommended for cooling systems.

2. Before adding antifreeze to the system, it is necessary to check the reliability of all hoses and the tightness of the cylinder head bolts. Drain the old coolant and add the required amount of water (see below) to the system before adding antifreeze.

3. Below is the degree of protection provided by antifreeze depending on its concentration (the concentration is expressed as a percentage of the total capacity of the cooling system).

4. If the system contains a mixture of antifreeze or corrosion inhibitor with water, you should add a ready-made mixture of the required proportions.
