Extraction
1. The thermostat is located at the bottom of the water pump, under the drive elbow. To remove the thermostat, you must first drain the cooling system.
2. Unscrew the drive knee (which is also the thermostat cover) from the water pump and remove the gasket and thermostat (photo 2.14).
3. Clean the water pump and elbow from sediment.
Examination
4. Check the thermostat.
5. Installation is the reverse action of removal, however, it is always necessary to replace the tire gasket with a new one. Fill the cooling system with liquid.
