Removing
Remove poly V-belt.
Remove the toothed belt.

Remove the crankshaft gear. Secure the gear with a counterholder (pic. 2.138).
Screw the central bolt to the guide of the oil seal extractor by hand until it stops against the crankshaft.
Unscrew the inside of the oil seal extractor two turns (about 3 mm) from the outside and secure with a knurled screw.
Lubricate the threaded head of the oil seal extractor.

Screw the puller by pressing hard on it, as far as possible into the stuffing box (pic. 2.140).
Loosen the knurled bolt and turn the inside of the puller against the crankshaft until the oil seal is removed.
Installation
Wipe off any remaining oil on the crankshaft journal with a clean rag.
Note: The sealing lip of the sealing gland does not need to be additionally lubricated.

Install the guide bushing on the crankshaft journal (pic. 2.141).
Slide the oil seal through the guide sleeve onto the crankshaft journal.

Press the oil seal with the mounting sleeve and the central bolt until it stops (pic. 2.261).
Remove the crankshaft gear. To do this, secure the gear with a counterhold (pic. 2.138).
Tighten the central bolt with a torque of 120 Nm + tighten 1/4 turn. (90 °) (additional tightening can be carried out in several stages).
Note: The thread and collar must be free of grease.
Install the toothed belt.
Install poly V-belt.
