Removal
Remove the sound insulation.
Remove the lower part of the fender liner.

Disconnect the fuel line nipple connectors (fig. 2.257).
To do this, pull up the connector lock.
Unscrew the fuel filter from the engine mount and set the filter with the hoses connected aside.
Mark the direction of rotation of the poly V-belt.

Turn the tensioner to loosen the poly V-belt using a fork-type wrench in the direction of the arrow (fig. 2.258).

Secure the tensioner with the locking pin (fig. 2.259).
Remove the poly V-belt.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Note: Before installing the poly V-belt, check that all components are securely fastened (generator, air conditioning compressor).
Note: When installing the poly V-belt, check the direction of travel and the correct fit of the belt on the belt drive pulleys.
Install the poly V-belt onto the air conditioning compressor last.
Install the fuel filter, tightening torque 10 Nm.
After completing the work, always start the engine and check the belt operation.
