Removing the oil pan
Remove the soundproofing.
Drain the engine oil.
Note: Follow the disposal regulations
Remove the fixing bolts between the oil pan and gearbox.
Disconnect, if equipped, the 3-pin connector from the temperature and oil level sensor.
Loosen the oil pan screws on the flywheel side with a SW 10 wrench and unscrew using a nozzle.
Remove the remaining screws and remove the oil pan. Remove the oil pan, tapping lightly with a rubber mallet if necessary.
Remove the oil pump with balance shaft drive and spacer.
Oil pan installation
Clean sealing surfaces. They must be free of oil and grease.
Note: Check the expiration date of the sealant.
Note: The oil pan must be installed and screwed on within 5 minutes of applying the silicone sealant.
Note: After removing the oil pan, the intermediate plate must always be replaced.
Install spacer and oil pump with balance shaft drive.
Install the oil pan immediately and tighten the mounting bolts as follows.
Slightly tighten all the bolts securing the oil pan to the cylinder block crosswise.
Lightly tighten the bolts securing the oil pan to the gearbox.
Slightly tighten all bolts securing the oil pan to the cylinder block crosswise.
Tighten bolts of fastening of the oil pallet to a transmission with the moment of 40 Н·м.
Tighten all bolts securing the oil pan to the cylinder block crosswise to 15 Nm.
Note: When installing the oil pan on a dismantled engine, make sure that the oil pan is flush with the cylinder block.
After installing the oil pan, allow the sealant to dry for approximately 30 minutes. Only then can you fill in engine oil.
Further installation and assembly is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
