Terms and Conditions
The engine oil level should be normal.
The engine oil temperature must be at least 80°C (the radiator fan should complete one cycle).
Work execution procedure
Remove the oil pressure sensor and screw it into the pressure gauge.
Screw the pressure tester into the oil filter holder in place of the sensor.
Connect the brown lead of the oil pressure gauge to ground (–).
Connect the voltage indicator with auxiliary wires from the auxiliary measuring kit to the positive battery terminal (+) and the oil pressure switch. The tester LED should not light.
If the LED lights up, replace the oil pressure sensor.
If the LED does not light up
start the engine and increase the speed. At an excess pressure of 1.2–1.6 bar the LED should light up, otherwise replace the oil pressure sensor.
Increase engine speed. At 2000 min⁻¹ and an oil temperature of 80°C, the excess oil pressure should be from 2.7 to 4.5 bar.
At high speeds, the oil pressure should be no more than 7.0 bar.
If the nominal value is not reached
Check the mesh filter in the oil intake pipe for contamination.
Note: Mechanical faults and damage, such as bearing failure, can cause the oil pressure to be too low.
If the fault is not found, replace the oil pump.
If the nominal value is exceeded, check the oil channels.
If necessary, replace the oil filter holder with the overpressure valve.
