Lockable seat back
If it is not possible to pull up the release button A, use the key B to unlock the lock located on the button.
Backrest folding
Pull up button A and at the same time tilt the backrest forward. You will now see a red mark on the button.
In this case, the head restraints may not be removed from the seat if the backrests of the front seats are at a sufficient distance.
The seat belt must not pass over the folded backrest, otherwise the rear belt tensioners will deploy in a collision.
Reclining the back into place
Fold the backrest into place and lock it securely. In this case, the red mark on the A key should no longer be visible.
Make sure that the seat belts are not pinched when the seat backs are folded down and thus damaged.
Warning: The back of the seat must be securely locked so that during emergency braking, no objects from the trunk can be thrown forward.
