If you cannot pull the release button A upwards, use key B to unlock the lock located on the button.
Folding the backrest
Pull up button A and at the same time tilt the backrest forward. Now you will see a red mark on the button.
In this case, the head restraints may remain on the seat if the backrests of the front seats are at a sufficient distance.
The seat belt must not pass over the folded seat back, otherwise the rear belt pretensioners will be activated in a collision.
Folding the backrest back into place

Fold the backrest back into place and lock it securely. The red mark on the A key should no longer be visible.
Make sure that the seat belts are not caught and damaged when the seat backs are folded back.
Warning: The seat back must be securely locked to prevent any objects from being thrown forward in the event of emergency braking.
