The back of the rear seat is separate. Each part can be folded separately.
Folding the rear seat
Remove the head restraints from the backrests to be folded.
Raise the seat cushion at the front edge 1 (pic. 1.94) and fold it forward 2.
Insert the headrest posts from above into the round holes of the folded cushion.
Pull up the backrest latches 3 (pic. 1.95).
Tilt the back forward. Make sure that socket 4 sits on the ledge in the seat cushion.
Returning to the rear seat
Pull the head restraints out of the seat cushion.
Raise the backrest slightly and reinstall the head restraints.
Tilt the backrest into place until it locks into place. Be careful not to pinch the belts.
Put the seat cushion back in place. Make sure the seat belt buckles are accessible.
If the rear seat is folded in its entirety, a partition net must be installed.
ATTENTION: The backrest of the rear seat, after returning to its place, must be securely fixed so that during emergency braking, no object from the luggage compartment could fly forward. The red mark in the latch indicates that the backrest is not fixed; when the backrest is securely fixed, this mark is not visible.
