On fig. 297 shows the rear suspension device. The rear suspension consists (from each side) from the lower trailing arm, coil spring, gas-filled shock absorber and anti-roll bar. The wheel hub is installed in the trailing arm. The trailing arm of the rear suspension itself is mounted on a subframe.
Shock absorbers and springs are located between the lower trailing arms and the bottom of the machine. On vehicles with ride height control (Nivomat) a special device is installed that prevents large deviations in the height of the car under different loads.
