The vehicles described, depending on the variant, have a rear axle with either independent wheel suspension or a diagonal balance beam. In the case of independent suspension, the connection between the main transmission and the wheels is carried out using two half-shafts, and in the case of a rear axle with a diagonal balancer, it is carried out using two cardan shafts. Both types of rear axle use torsion bars.

Rear suspension (independent): 1 - cotter pin (replace); 2 - crown nut; 3 - brake drum; 4 - 60 Nm…

Rear suspension (independent): 1 - cotter pin (replace); 2 - crown nut; 3 - brake drum; 4 - 60 Nm (6.0 kgfm); 5 - spring washer; 6 - washer; 7 - rear wheel hub bearing cover; 8 - oil deflector; 9 - oil seal (extract by knocking out or pressing out);10 - outer spacer sleeve (lightly lubricate the surface with oil; 11 - round clamping ring (small); 12 - protective washer; 13.- sealing gasket; 14 - round tension ring (large)


Caution! Loosen and tighten the castle nut only when the vehicle is standing on its wheels!
