Removal
Remove the cotter pin from the wheel axle shaft and unscrew the crown nut.
Caution! Loosen the castle nut only when the vehicle is on the ground.
Raise the rear of the car, place it on supports, and remove the wheel. If the wheel with the brake drum does not come off the axle, pull the drum off with a suitable puller.
Installation
Install the brake drum with or without the wheel, screw on the castle nut and tighten it slightly.
Lower the car.
Tighten the castle nut to 350 N⋅m (35.0 kgf⋅cm). If the cotter pin does not engage, tighten the nut until it engages. Do not loosen the nut under any circumstances for this purpose!
Insert a new cotter pin and bend it.
