The Jetta model has an additional stabilizer at the rear axle. Thanks to the stabilization when passing a curved trajectory and body roll, the internal (relative to the curve) the wheel is less loaded, and the spring of the outer wheel is compressed more strongly. As a result, the stabilizer bends. Trying to straighten, it helps to level the body. The Golf model does not have a stabilizer, since the axle, made of spring steel, has a sufficient stabilizing effect.
The connection between the rear axle and the body is carried out on both sides by supports with rubber-metal silent blocks (in front, near the trailing arms of the suspension, if you look in the direction of travel).
Rear wheel suspension: 1 - upper support of the shock absorber strut; 2 - longitudinal suspension arm; 3 - shock absorber; 4 - T-shaped crossbar made of spring steel; 5 - stabilizer (only in the Jetta model); 6 - brake hose; 7 - handbrake cable; 8 - silent block; 9 - brake drum.
