The settings stored in memory can be recalled either by pressing the memory keys D or via the radio remote control.
Call via memory keys
For safety reasons, adjustments can only be called up when the ignition is switched off.
There are two call options:
- "sensor automatic": lightly press the selected memory button D with the driver's door open. The seat and outside mirrors will automatically take the stored position,
- "manual": keep the selected memory button D pressed with the driver's door open or closed until the seat and outside mirrors have finally reached the memorized position.
If you press one of the memory buttons again during the automatic adjustment of the seat and exterior mirrors, the ongoing recall process will be interrupted. If you then press the memory button again, the interrupted adjustment process will be continued. If, on the contrary, you press one of the other two buttons, the recall process of the settings entered into the memory on this button will be carried out.
Call via remote radio control
You can set the settings stored in the memory only with the ignition off and the driver's door closed.
Briefly press the radio remote control key release button and then open the driver's door.
The seat and outside mirrors will automatically take the previously selected position.
Calling for setting the right mirror when reversing
1. Switch control to the right outside mirror.
2. Engage reverse gear.
The right mirror will automatically take the previously set position when reversing.
Once reverse gear is disengaged, the right mirror will return to its previously set position when driving forward.
Urgent shutdown
If necessary, you can interrupt the process of setting the stored adjustments by pressing the locking switch E, one of the memory buttons or one of the seat adjustment switches.
Instructions for using the E-lock switch
After pressing the lock switch E, the memory system is deactivated. The seat and mirrors can only be set manually. By pressing the lock switch E again, the memory system is reactivated. However, the interrupted memory setting process is not continued.
We recommend that the memory system be switched off using the locking switch E when the vehicle is temporarily driven by a driver whose individual seat and mirror settings have not been stored in the memory.
Initializing the memory system
After disconnecting the battery, the memory system must be "initialized" again (restore to its original state). Otherwise, it will be impossible to either remember new settings or enter changes to settings into the memory.
1. Open the driver's door.
2. Turn on the ignition.
3. Set the seat cushion up and forward until it stops.
4. Adjust the seat back as far forward as it will go.
The memory system is now reinitialized and fully operational.
