Seat headrests (VW Passat B5)

The front seat headrests are adjustable in height and tilt; rear – by height. Headrests should be installed according to the person's height. Correctly installed headrests provide effective protection together with seat belts.

Height adjustment

Take the headrest with both hands from the sides and move it up or down.

The greatest degree of safety is achieved when the top edge of the head restraint is at eye level or higher.

Removal and installation

To remove the headrest, pull it up until it stops, press the button and simultaneously remove the headrest.

To install the headrest, push the headrest rods into the guide holes until you hear a click, indicating that the lock is engaged.
