When the engine is running, you should not keep the steering wheel in the full lock position for more than 15 seconds. Due to the prolonged presence of the steering wheels in the full lock position, the power steering fluid becomes very hot.
This may cause the steering servo to malfunction.
Each full turn of the steering wheel on a stationary vehicle is accompanied by a noticeable noise, since the power steering pump is heavily loaded. In addition, a short-term decrease in engine speed at idle is noted.
