Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Remove the ignition coil cover and disconnect the terminals from the coil.
1st execution (cylindrical ignition coil):

If the button (arrow) protrudes from the coil, replace the ignition coil. Check the ignition coil for microcracks, replace the coil if necessary.
2nd execution (high voltage transformer):

Check the resistance of the primary winding. To do this, connect the ohmmeter to terminals 1 and 15. The prescribed resistance value of the transformer primary winding is 0.5-0.7 Ohm. See the table for the values for the cylindrical ignition coil.
Check the resistance of the secondary winding. To do this, connect the ohmmeter to terminals 15 and 4. The prescribed resistance value of the secondary winding of the transformer is 3-4 kOhm. The values for the cylindrical ignition coil are given in the table.

1) gray sticker on the ignition coil (installed on carburetor engines up to 7/89, as well as in the presence of the Mono-Jetronic system
2) green sticker on the ignition coil
Connect the electrical wires to the coil. Insert the ignition coil cover.
If the measured resistance values do not correspond to the specified values, check the output stage (workshop work).
Connect the ground wire to the battery.
