Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.
Remove ignition coil cover.
Disconnect the wires from the ignition coil.
If the plug -arrow- on the ignition coil is pressed out, replace the ignition coil.
Check the ignition coil for cracks and replace the coil if any.
Check the resistance of the primary winding of the ignition coil by connecting an ohmmeter to terminals 1 and 15.
Check the resistance of the secondary winding of the ignition coil by connecting an ohmmeter to terminals 15 and 4.
Connect the wires to the ignition coil.
Install the coil cover.
Connect ground wire to battery.
Attention: When replacing the ignition coil, do not install a coil for a conventional, contact ignition system, otherwise the control unit will be disabled.
