Note: Since 10/92, a modified caliper has been installed on the rear axle. The caliper can be identified by the bolted-on handbrake cable holder, which was cast as one with the caliper body until 9/92. The new caliper cannot be installed on cars manufactured before 9/92. Removing the piston and replacing the brake pads is the same as before.

As a spare part, it is installed together with the guide pins and protective caps and is supplied with a sufficient amount of grease for the guide pins. If the protective caps are damaged, use the complete repair kit. Use the enclosed tube of grease to lubricate the guide pins.
