Hazard light switch
Removing
1. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition switch.
2. Remove the central deflector, see the relevant chapter.
3. Disconnect the plug located on the back side of the deflector cover.
4. Squeeze the two stoppers on the back side of the deflector lining and disconnect the light alarm switch.
The switch is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Air bag lock
Removing
5. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition switch.
6. Remove the glove box, see the relevant chapter.
Attention! Observe the precautions regarding the handling of airbags.
7. Disconnect the plug of the lock of an airbag located on the back side of a ware box, release two locking leaders and take the lock.
The lock is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Glove box light switch
Removing
8. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition.
9. Remove the glove box, see the relevant chapter.
10. Wring out two lock leaders and take the switch.
The switch is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Switches in the center console
Removing
11. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition switch.
12. Release the corrugated cover from the mounting on the center console and put it on the gear lever, see the relevant chapter.
13. Remove a pocket or an ashtray on the central console, the corresponding chapter see.
14. Disconnect the plugs on the back of the switch trim (see arrows in illustration).
15. Wring out locking ledges and disconnect switches.
Installation of switches is carried out in sequence, return to removal.
Power window and mirror switches on the driver's door
Removing
16. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition switch.
17. Remove an overlay of an armrest of a door by means of a plastic wedge, the corresponding chapter see.
18. Disconnect the plugs on the back of the cover.
19. Press out the four locking clips (see arrows A in the illustration) and remove the power window switch 1 from the lining.
20. Press out the four locking clips (see arrows B in illustration 38.19) and remove the rear-view mirror switch 2 from the trim.
Installation of switches is carried out in sequence, return to removal.
Central locking switch on the driver's door
Removing
21. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition.
22. Remove an upholstery from a driver's door, the corresponding chapter see.
23. Disconnect plug 1 on the back of the door upholstery (see illustration).
24. Unscrew two bolts 2 and remove the lock switch button from the door upholstery (see illustration 38.23).
25. Wring out four lock clips and remove the switch from an overlay of the button of blocking of a door.
The switch is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Fuel door lock switch on the driver's door
Removing
26. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition.
27. Remove an upholstery from a driver's door, the corresponding chapter see.
28. Disconnect plug 1 on the back of the door trim (see illustration).
29. Depress the two locking clamps (see arrows in illustration 38.28) and remove the switch from the door upholstery.
The switch is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Power window switch on front passenger door and rear side door
Removing
30. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition.
31. Remove the trim from the door armrest using a plastic wedge, see the relevant chapter.
32. Disconnect plugs on the back side of an upholstery of a door.
33. Wring out two lock clips and take the switch from an upholstery of a door.
Attention! Removing the power window switch on the front and rear doors is the same as removing the fuel door lock switch (see illustration 38.28).
The switch is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Switches on the upholstery of the central pillar on the left side of the passenger compartment
Removing
34. Open the door with the remote control to deactivate the burglar alarm.
35. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition.
36. Pry off with a screwdriver and remove the switches for protecting the interior and protecting against towing from the upholstery of the central pillar on the left side of the passenger compartment.
37. Disconnect the plugs from the removed switches.
Installation of switches is carried out in sequence, return to removal.
Steering wheel switches
Removing
38. Disconnect the battery.
Attention! Observe the precautions regarding the handling of airbags.
39. Remove the driver's airbag from the steering wheel, see the relevant chapter.
40. Disconnect plug 1 of the control unit (see illustration).
41. Remove the bolt (see arrow in illustration 38.40) and remove the switch box from the steering wheel.
Installation of switches is carried out in sequence, return to removal.
