2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Paste the upholstery of the ceiling near the ceiling in the place where the ceiling will pry off with a screwdriver, in order to avoid damage to the upholstery.
Attention! After replacing the old light bulb with a new one, check its performance.
Front dome light/reading light
4. Carefully remove diffuser 1 of the diffuser by prying it out with a plastic wedge from the front, e.g. HAZET 1965-20 (see illustration).
5. Remove spotlight bulb 2 from the ceiling and insert a new one (see illustration 34.4).
6. Remove reading light 3 and install a new one (see illustration 34.4).
Attention! If you need to remove the cover from the mounting location on the ceiling, then unscrew the two screws 4 and release the two latches and only then disconnect the cover from the ceiling (see arrows in illustration 34.4).
Rear dome light
7. Remove diffuser 1 lampshade with a screwdriver (see illustration).
8. Remove the soffit bulb from the holder and insert a new one.
Attention! If the cover needs to be removed from the mounting location on the ceiling, then it is necessary to remove both diffusers of the cover, and then release the four latches and only then disconnect the cover from the ceiling (see arrows in illustration 34.7).
Attention! If burglar alarm sensors are installed in the Touran's rear dome light, the procedure for removing and installing such a dome is the same as like the Golf cars.
Door light
9. Open the door and remove the door light from the upholstery by prying it out with a flat screwdriver.
10. Remove diffuser 1 by pressing its locking tabs (see arrows A in the illustration) from the lamp housing 2.
11. Remove the soffit bulb from the holder and insert a new one.
Glove box lantern
12. Open the storage box.
13. Use a flat screwdriver or a plastic wedge to pry the lantern of the glove box and remove it from the mounting location.
14. Disconnect the flashlight power plug (see arrow in illustration).
15. Remove the light bulb from the lamp socket and insert a new one.
Vanity/trunk light
The vanity/trunk light and bulbs are removed and replaced in the same way like the Golf cars.
