Removal
Attention! To dismantle the changer, you will need two removable brackets VW 3316, which can be purchased at a specialized store.
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Lift up the center armrest.
3. Insert both removable brackets 1 into the holes on the left and right sides of the front panel of the CD changer until they are locked in place (see illustration).
Attention! The staples must not be spread apart or tilted.
4. Remove the CD changer from the compartment on the dashboard by pulling it towards you by the clips (see arrows in illustration 41.3) and disconnect the plugs on its back.
5. Remove the removable brackets from the removed CD changer by pressing the locking tabs on the changer inward.

Installation
The CD changer is installed in the reverse order of removal.
