The contact surface in the brake drum should be as smooth as possible.
If grooves or grooves are found on this surface (due to worn pads), the drum can be machined.
The new brake drums have an inner diameter of 180 mm.
After machined drums, thicker brake linings should be used.
If the brake drums are too worn, they should be replaced, but both must be replaced.
