Removal the brake disc (VW Golf 1)

Brake discs should be changed simultaneously on both sides. If you change only on one side, the result will be an uneven braking effect. Pay attention to the correct thickness of the disc: it is 12 mm.

In the disc brake mechanism, remove the linings: move the movable frame to the side.

Or remove the bracket in the cam brake mechanism.

Remove the brake disc Phillips head locking screw.



Remove the brake disc from the wheel hub using a rubber hammer.

Before installing a new brake disc, clean the bearing surface of the wheel hub.
